Business Profile:
Since its founding in New Jersey on January 31, 2013, Path Electrical contractors, Inc., has become a leading provider of Electrical services in Central and South Florida with a multitude of 5-star ratings in nearby cities. We were Awarded “The Best of Home Advisor” award for excellent service in 2014. We have been published by the Daytona Beach News Journal in Florida, The Post and Courier in Charleston South Carolina, and The NJ Journal, in recognition of this Award. Our company appeared on WESH 2 news with Dave McDaniel at the start of the Corona Virus Pandemic to help give insight into the rising cost of materials due to raw material delays. With our local offices Headquartered in DeLand FL., our founder “Francisco J. De La Torre” holds a Florida “Master Electrician” license. We are in high demand because of our ability to provide a large variety of services for our customers. Although our CEO Francisco J. De La Torre has passed board exams in NJ, and SC, and has been licensed in both of those states, we have centralized our efforts in the state of Florida, our own hometown. His experience is comprised of over 37 personal years of electrical hands-on knowledge with a vast variety of installations under our belt. We partner with other specialty trades such as Fire/Alarm contractors, Low voltage contractors, HVAC, and Pluming contractors. We do this to provide our customers with an “Above and Beyond” factor that allows us to stand out in our field. We help our customers connect with top rated contractors so they can feel safe and secure that their interests are in good hands.
Business profile continued:
We are certified Generac dealers and certified Lutron control installers. Company News:
As a company, we see increasing demand in telecommunications with a large focus on fiber optics. Concentrated mostly in internal wiring and patching system for business telecommunications and data links. With market conditions expected to see record demands in numerous installations, we have taken steps in procuring the necessary experienced technicians and instituted training camps for the remainder of our staff. In 2013 we successfully completed a “Hobby Lobby Tenant Fit Out” for Brackenridge General Contractors in Lawrenceville, NJ. In 2016 we completed a 500-kw generator installation for “SECO Energy” in Leesburg, FL. We also completed an over 200-unit level 1, low-income housing renovation for “Millenia Housing Management” in Brevard County Florida. We encapsulated 3 large properties that included Canaveral Cove, Armstrong Glenn, and Jupiter Ridge under the direction of NEI Construction in 2020. We are currently working alongside NEI construction performing this same type of renovation at Highland Manor in Daytona Beach, FL., Franklin House in Eustis, FL., and Gardens of Homestead in Homestead, FL. This portfolio of properties for NEI’s ongoing jobs are expected to be completed in the 3rdquarter of 2024. At the same time, we maintain a commercial presence in the field alongside GSB Construction in Astor, FL. on the Astor Lyons Library’s new construction. We have also Provided electrical rewiring, service upgrades, panel change outs, recessed can installations, and troubleshooting to over 3000 customers since our founding. We believe in growth by word of mouth, this is why we steadily hold a 4.9 Google consumer rating after well over a decade since we first opened our doors.

Industry Information:
The US electrical contracting industry includes about 70,000 companies with a combined annual revenue of about $100 billion. The industry is highly fragmented: 80 percent of electrical contracting firms have fewer than 25 employees.
Industry Leaders:
We are among the few electrical contracting firms with fewer than 25 employees that can perform any size job. We are proud to say that we are a self-sustained, Family operated business. According to our business model this is how we will be able to continue our success for years to come, with the goal of becoming a leader in larger projects, the likes of Tri- City Electrical, Palmer Electrical, and Del-air Electrical Services.
Workforce:
Although we have seen a decline in employment within the industry, there has been an increased growth in several housing markets; Florida being in the Top 20. With the decline of new talent in the industry it has become increasingly difficult to procure a workforce for the future of the electrical trade. For this reason, our field employees are treated fairly, allowing us to develop an open-door policy with them and keep a low turnover, & long-term employee.
Key Processes:
With the economy still reeling from the effects of recession, the Corona Virus Pandemic, the rise of unemployment, and wavering business and consumer confidence, electrical contractors are re-evaluating their businesses, and taking on new and different roles with new business models to remain competitive. "We see more contractors providing additional services to preserve their customers and the value of what they are getting. This translates to “Greater Revenue” said Heath Klein, director of Austin, TX. based Siemens Building Technologies Division–Retail & Commercial Systems. “The contractors who don’t provide such services are finding they become engaged in a very competitive and commodity focused business”.
Community Involvement:
We strive to support our local community by sponsoring events to benefit the local police, and fire departments, we started “F.R.A.D” First Responders Appreciation Day in May of 2020 and hold the event every 3rdThursday of May. On May 16, of this year we will be holding our 4th annual F.R.A.D event. This is a day for the community to rally around our protectors and give thanks in person to those who put their lives on the line to protect ours! We have a Local Taco truck come out and serve them lunch sponsored and paid for by Path Electrical Contractors, Inc. As a company we are taking the necessary steps to be a staple in our community.
